flyBy privacy

Effective date: September 23, 2026. This policy covers the flyBy iOS app (bundle id com.playflyby.game) and https://playflyby.com (including /lab).

Quick facts

flyBy is a phone game. There is no player account and no sign-in required to play. The game does not ask for your name, email, or location to play. flyBy does not sell personal information.

What stays on your device

• Best scores and Arcade / Classic progress may be stored on the device.
• Unlocked themes, characters, and No Ads status are stored on the device and restored through Apple when you use Restore purchases.
• Local notification permission and scheduling flags may be stored on the device.

Deleting the app removes that on-device data. flyBy does not keep a separate player profile on its own servers for gameplay.

Apple in-app purchases

Sky theme and the bird character are free. Optional Apple non-consumable purchases may include themes (Night, Space, Future), characters (UFO, Fly Taxi), theme+character bundles, Complete Set upgrades when you already own one half, and No Ads. The App Store shows current prices. Apple processes payment. flyBy never receives your card number.

Apple may add or change catalog entries over time; the live App Store listing and in-app store are authoritative.

Ads

No ads run during a flight, on launch, or as a banner. After a flight ends, continue can show a rewarded video. A completed view grants continue flights per app rules. Closing the ad early grants nothing. If no ad is ready, play still continues. Owning No Ads skips the continue ad.

Rewarded ads are Unity Ads (not Google AdMob / AdSense). Unity may receive device and ad-interaction data needed to show and measure that ad. See Unity’s privacy policy for details. flyBy does not require App Tracking Transparency “allow” to play. Declining tracking still lets you play.

Game Center

Optional Apple Game Center can show leaderboards (for example High Score and Arcade-related boards). If you use Game Center, Apple handles your Game Center identity and scores under Apple’s terms and privacy policy. flyBy does not create a separate flyBy account for leaderboards.

Notifications

flyBy may ask permission for local reminders on your device (for example a quiet re-engage notice after you have not opened the app for a while). These are scheduled on-device. They are not remote push from flyBy’s own servers. You can deny permission or turn notifications off in iOS Settings.

Arcade Mode and Classic

Arcade Mode (perks such as machine gun, laser, ghost, spare life) and Classic play run on your device. Choosing a mode does not create an online account with flyBy.

Website

playflyby.com is a marketing and support site. The optional /lab page may load a browser playtest build. Standard web logs (such as IP address and user agent) may be processed by the site host (for example GitHub Pages) as part of serving the site. The site does not ask you to create a flyBy account.

Children

flyBy is not directed at children under 13. It is not in Apple’s Kids Category. Parents or guardians should supervise device use and purchases.

Your choices

• Decline tracking prompts and still play.
• Deny or disable notifications in iOS Settings.
• Skip or close rewarded ads (you may not get the continue reward).
• Buy No Ads to skip the continue ad.
• Sign out of Game Center in iOS Settings if you do not want Game Center features.
• Uninstall the app to remove on-device flyBy data.
